Goodbye 2009...Hello 2010!
Little man thinks he's staying up until after midnight. Usually he'll jibber jabber to himself for a few minutes and then pass out. Tonight he's really fussing. It had been half an hour of crying and whining in his crib. I hope he isn't coming down with a cold again...please please please no! his nose ran a bit today so there is a suspicion. I gave in and cuddled/rocked him to sleep tonight. I don't care that I may be starting a bad habit. The truth is I love cuddling with him before bedtime. I love winding down sitting in our chair. I pat him on his back and he recipricates, it's really sweet. I feel so much love and I know he feels the same. The lame me is exhausted already and it's only 10pm. I kept telling myself that mentally preparing myself for dental surgery is exhausting but truthfully, I'm just lame. I look forward to my cozy warm bed but the 21 year old in me is weeping for shame. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. See you in 2010....wahhhhh!

Cinnamon Ornaments
Little guy has been feeling under the weather this past week. I was trying to figure out how to cure his sadness and I remembered Ms. Robyn and the kids made Cinnamon Ornaments last week. I was so excited to have one made by Adrian but it crumbled on the way home. I looked up the recipe online and found that adding a few teaspoons of white glue to cinnamon and applesauce makes the ornament a bit more sturdy once dried. They smell so yummy!

Snowy Saturday
Candy Cane From Santa
Adrian went to see Santa today but the mission was a failure. Adrian was afraid of him and wouldn't stay sitting on his lap so we don't have pictures with Santa this year. He did get a candy cane out of it though.
I was just thinking to myself that Santas must have high self esteem. Can you imagine the sight of you makes most little kids cry?

Decorating Christmas Tree
Adrian helped decorate the tree by throwing ornaments across the room while yelling "ballllll". I almost had a heart attack as he found the box that housed all the glass ornaments. This year the tree is decorated with glass and sentimental ornaments on the top half and the bottom half with unbreakable ones (Little man proof).
The simplest things make a child happy. Adrian played with the tree box and thoroughly enjoyed it. He must have thought it was the best spot to hide during a hide and go seek game.
