Bedtime Story

My favorite time of the day. It isn't until I look at this picture that I realize how tall Adrian is for a 1.5 year old. Maybe I'm just vertically challenged!

Shhhh....Don't Tell The Neighbor!

Little man loves to pick dandelion and blow them all over the yard. I'm sure our neighbor wonders why his weeds keep multiplying.

Book Love

Adrian is really fond of this particular book that is of animals with googly eyes. He especially loves the gorilla with a patch of hair on top of the head. Every time he turns to that page he has to make sure he either licks the hair or pet it for a while....strange, I know.

2009 Otto Cousin's Reunion

So, in a nutshell little man's plane ride was predictable. Out of the 2.5 hours flight he kept still for half an hour. Regardless, I'm thankful that he was entertained by what was playing on his DVD player for that measley half an hour. After a few poopy diaper changes on the plane, eating all my freshly baked chocolate chip cookies (yup, Midwest bakes cookies on their planes!) and almost losing him underneath the seats we arrived in Omaha in one piece. I cannot believe he didn't even nap when I purposely scheduled our flight around his nap time.

We had a wonderful time seeing everyone in Iowa this past weekend. This is little man's first Otto Cousin's Reunion and what a pleasure to have Danny and Candy's twins, Evan and Owen be present too. It was so fun to see the boys somewhat acknowledge each other. Hopefully next year they will play with each other rather than play side by side of each other. I'm just sorry to have missed Tim Otto's (tomaato) water slide stunt in his skivvies. Oh well, at least Zac documented it with our camera. Little man loved spending some quality time with Grandpa Charlie. Grampa Charlie, I think little man is only buttering you up so he get get close to your truck. Adrian walked around Grampa Charlie's truck pointing and mumbling "c_ck". I don't know how many times I've tried to slowly sound out ttttttttruuck but somehow it always comes out as either a curse word or a male genitalia. We really enjoyed catching up with the family and cannot wait to see everyone again next year....in our neck of the woods!
